Foster Information & Application

Fostering an animal that has for no reason of their own lost their home is an amazing thing to do.

We are a foster based rescue, without our wonderful foster homes we couldn't continue to save lives. We can't save every pet in need but for those we do save, it means they now have a chance to live a full, happy life with a wonderful forever family. Many of our rescued pets are from abusive or neglected situations and require extra special care and patience.

SSPR provides food and medical care for our fosters, if the foster wants to buy food or contribute to the care of their foster animal that is also fine. Fostering can be for a few days to weeks, possibly even months in certain circumstances, it depends on the pet and how long it will take them to decompress and be ready to join their own family. An adoption fee is also required of fosters if they decide to adopt their foster animal.
